It naturally keeps your flowers looking full and balanced without needing extra arranging. Designer Lena Bergström created Squeeze after an unexpected moment in the glass studio. While shaping hot, molten glass, it bent inward by accident. Inspired by that “mistake,” she recreated the look intentionally. Each vase is mouth-blown and then gently squeezed by hand while still hot, creating two soft indentations. Inside, these squeezes form a cross shape that holds stems neatly together, preventing them from spreading out — even if you’re using just a few flowers. The flowing, sculptural form looks different from every angle, giving the vase movement and personality. Introduced in 1997, Squeeze has become one of Orrefors’ most recognisable and loved designs thanks to its mix of artistry and clever functionality.
