The Squeeze Vase in bluish grey is designed to make larger floral arrangements look naturally balanced and beautifully gathered. At 34cm high, it’s ideal for taller stems, generous bouquets, or statement branches, adding height and movement to dining tables, consoles, or open living spaces. Designer Lena Bergström created the Squeeze collection after an unexpected moment in the glass studio. While shaping hot glass, it bent inward by accident. Inspired by this “mistake,” she recreated the form intentionally. Each vase is mouth-blown and then gently squeezed by hand while still hot, creating two soft indentations. Inside, these form a cross that keeps flowers upright and neatly grouped — even when using only a few stems. The flowing curves give the vase a sense of sensual movement, almost like a quiet dance captured in crystal. The soft bluish grey colour adds a modern, calming tone that works beautifully with both vibrant and neutral florals. Since its launch in 1997, Squeeze has become one of Orrefors’ most iconic designs thanks to its clever function and sculptural style.
