While shaping hot, molten glass, it bent inward by accident. Inspired by this, she intentionally recreated the “squeezed” form. Each vase is mouth-blown and gently pressed by hand while still hot, forming two soft indentations. Inside, these create a cross shape that keeps flowers gathered neatly together instead of spreading out — even if you’re using only a few stems. The rich smokey brown colour adds depth and a cosy tone to your home, while the curved, billowing form looks different from every angle depending on how it’s placed and how the light hits it. Since its launch in 1997, Squeeze has become one of Orrefors’ most iconic and recognisable designs.
