Combining the softness and silky smooth feel of 100% Egyptian Cotton Sateen with easy care durability means maximum enjoyment with no fuss. Sateen refers to the finish on the cotton - a sateen finish produces a softer feel and a slight sheen due to the use of a different structure in the weaving process. A sateen finish is not Satin (Satin is made from Polyester). When purchasing sheets please be aware that many sheets on the market claim they have a higher thread count when in actual fact the information can be misleading regarding the surface area the thread count is measured over and the type of cotton used.
