Since 1748, Villeroy & Boch has created pieces that bring design and function together in unexpected ways - and La Boule is perhaps the most celebrated expression of that spirit in the modern era. Originally conceived by Helen von Boch in 1971 and reinterpreted for today, La Boule is a 7-piece dinner set for two - two bowls, two flat bowls, two plates and one serving platter - that stacks together to form a striking sculptural sphere. On the table it performs as a complete, versatile dining set; off the table it becomes an interior design object in its own right. Awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2020, and part of the permanent collections of the MoMA in New York and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
